How to charge a battery
A typical battery charger,
fitted with a charge gauge
(ammeter).
Clip the red
positive (+) charger
lead to the positive
(+) terminal.
The high
and low
charging-rate
switch.
The ammeter
gauge shows the
rate of charge.
Clip the black negative
(-) charger lead to the
negative (-) terminal.
Make sure that the
crocodile clips are
fixed securely and not
liable to be knocked
off by accident.
If the charging rate is
much more than 4 amps,
take off the cell caps or
covering trough to assist
the gas to escape.
